Snap survey: What OS are you running?
Tectonic readers are early-adopters and many of you have been running Linux on your work and home computers longer than we can claim to have been around. In fact, a good third of Tectonic readers are Linux users, well at least it was so last time we looked. That was a little while back, so tell us what you’re using now. Yes, that includes the Vista users hiding back there!

Got my first pc last june, didnt want to pay for windows, wanted to be different, wanted to know a bit about my pc, tried linux for human beings and i am very happy.90% satisfied only because of games and maybe linux-distros minimal support for users without internet on pcs.

I started using Linux in April of 2007 although I had been exposed to it for a few years but this year I decided to learn the ropes and manage the way my computer works instead of being lead by the nose and expensive windows security programs that slowed my computer down to a crawl. I am currently using Kanotix and Sidux but mostly Kanotix for the stababilty and unique customization of modules that it uses.
I still use WinXp on my Desktop for gaming and some surfing the news but other than that it runs strickly under Linux.
