By   |  September 11, 2008

Local representatives of the One Laptop Per Child project will be at the Insite Expo in Sandton next week showing off the latest release and demonstrating the One Laptop’s capabilities.

Morgan Collett says that the OLPC stand will have “7 XOs on display, running the latest development version, with collaborative activities being demonstrated”.

The Insite (International Science Innovation and Technology Exhibition) expo runs from Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 at the Sandton Convention Centre. Entry is free for those that register in advance on the Insite website.

The Insite expo will also include a day dedicated to open source software as part of the early Software Freedom Day celebrations.

Update: The OLPC stand will only be open on Wednesday 17.
