Buffer overflow: TomTom sues, Gnome chooses git

By   |  March 20, 2009

On the same day that it released version 2.26, the Gnome release team has announced that git will be the new version control system for Gnome.

GPS maker TomTom has responded to Microsoft’s patent suit by filing its own patent infringement suit against the software maker. TomTom says Microsoft’s Streets and Trips products infringe on four patents it owns related to vehicle navigation software.

I’ve been following the TomTom vs. Micro$oft story for a while now, and this is becoming interesting!

To see someone going after M$ is something worth noting, since they think they own the computing world. Every year may be the year of Linux, but until it arrives, I’m not following anything else 😛
