New Maestro content management system rolls out

CMS-Maestro is a new PHP-based content management system (CMS) released by South African Web development company Valente Online.

Easy to install and use, CMS-Maestro offers the basics such as page and article management and adds to that the ability to add additional widgets, and manage menus and a range of media formats. In a release the company says that “CMS-Maestro is built with extensibility in mind and is designed in a modular fashion, therefore additional features and functionality can be added easily to the Maestro”.

Core features of CMS-Maestro include:
- Pages
- Articles
- Form builder
- Category management
- Widgets for additional content blocks
- Menu management, and
- Media management.

CMS-Maestro also integrates Google Analytics into the administration dashboard, includes a tinyMCE WYSIWYG editor, supports clean urls and template support.

CMS-Maestro has been released under the GPLv3 open source licence.

    @wogan We would like to have an online demo soon, however we still focusing on ironing out the few bugs here and there and preparing comprehensive documentation for the project

    @Marco Sounds good. I was also wondering about code contribution – is there a git/svn repository somewhere that people can contribute to?
