CITI chief goes to the post office

After three years at the helm, Masedi Molosiwa has stepped down from his
position as executive director of the Cape IT Initiative (CITI), to join the
South Africa Post Office as the strategy and marketing group executive.

Raven Naidoo, Chairman of CITI says: \”This organisation is about
developing skills, growing human capital and creating an environment that
engenders success both within the ICT sector as a whole and within CITI.
Masedi¹s moving onto SAPO is at once a proud moment and a loss. His
contribution to CITI has been significant, and we are sad to see him go.
But, at the same time, this is exactly what we stand for the realisation
of an individual¹s potential.\”

The CITI board, which is made up of twelve people representing the Western
Cape ICT industry from both the public and private sectors, is currently
exploring a number of potential replacements for Molosiwa. \”The position
calls for a social entrepreneur someone who is passionate about the
development of people and who has insight into how to take CITI and the ICT
sector to a new level of success,\” says Naidoo.
