Google’s royalty-free multimedia format WebM is getting more love. This time from FFmpeg, which has released version 0.6 with WebM support.
Norway-based browser maker Opera today released a new beta of its Opera 10.browser which it says is 50% faster than its predecessor.
WebM, the open source video codec, has landed in development versions of Firefox 4. Support for the new format should appear in nightly builds from tonight onwards.
Google’s WebM project has switched licenses to bring its free video codec in line with standard open source licences.
